After 4 months, a telescope truss according to the size of the drawings was finally completed and delivered smoothly last Saturday.

This truss is made of Invar36 alloy material.Also known as UNS K93600, UNS K93601, W.Nr.1.3912, alloy36, Fe-Ni36.

Alloy 36 is a nickel-iron low-expansion alloy, which contains 36% nickel and has a thermal expansion rate of approximately one-tenth that of carbon steel.

36 Alloy is a solid single-phase alloy mainly composed of nickel and iron. Nickel alloy 36 has good strength and toughness at low temperatures due to its low expansion coefficient. It maintains an almost constant size at a maximum temperature below -150°C (-238°F) to 260°C (500°F), which is essential for low temperatures.
